Purification from illusions and the rise towards truth and wisdom! Venus goes invisible! Jupiter square the Nodes! All Signs Collective Horoscope (January 3rd-9th, 2022)

Dear NightFall Astrology readers,

I hope the first few days of 2022 have been treating you well! Jupiter has barely stepped into Pisces (its second home sign), and we’ve been already seeing the topics of Justice and Truth (ruled by Jupiter) being at the forefront of world news. Pisces rules fluids, the subconscious/hidden, empathy, healing, spirituality, art, illusions and the media. It’s been no wonder to see so many scandals surfacing, but also more reassuring information about the Omicron variant causing milder symptoms and thus being less dangerous than the previous COVID variants, giving us hope to the endemic stage of it all.

Naturally, the top powers who have been using the pandemic to restrict people’s freedoms since the Saturn/Pluto major conjunction in January 2020 (the month when the existence of COVID19 was announced worldwide) haven’t been too pleased with these scientific findings and have been seeking manipulative ways to keep pushing their control agendas. But, my dear followers and readers, the truth always comes out, and it will continue to come out throughout 2022.

Here’s your weekly horoscope.

• From January 3rd until January 4th, Mercury in Aquarius is trining the North Node in Gemini and sextiling the South Node in Sagittarius. These harmonious aspects bring forth a karmic revelation of truth in a big way, both collectively and individually. The rulers of the Nodes (Mercury and Jupiter) are in collective signs meaning that impactful information will be coming to light regarding our day-to-day communication, belief systems, politics, immediate environments, religion, and international matters.

This aspect has to be explored alongside the square Jupiter in Pisces will be making to the nodal axis. This challenging aspect indicates that whatever information comes out, it can either take the form of a major truth bomb, be blown out of proportion by the media, or both. All of this is being put into perspective and reevaluated with Venus retrograde crossing twice the 23rd degree of Capricorn, where the Saturn/Pluto conjunction happened in January 2020 (the 1st crossing happened on Monday, January 3rd, 2022). Mercury is already in shadow and is getting ready to station retrograde on January 14th, but won’t reach that exact degree, so it’s Venus that will be doing most of the reviewing until it goes direct and conjoins for the 3rd time Pluto (more money, relationship and diplomacy secrets coming to light) in March. 

The main story resulting from the abovementioned 3 aspects this week has been French President Macron’s outrageous outburst against the non-vaccinated where he admits that he wants to pass the vaccine passport bill to “piss them off”, which resulted in the suspension of the debates at the French Parliament for 2 nights in a row. 

The Mercury and Jupiter aspects to the nodal axis will be most impactful for Sagittarius, Gemini, Aries, Leo, Aquarius, and Libra. 

• From January 4th until January 8th (exact on January 5th-6th), Venus retrograde in Capricorn will be sextiling (harmonious aspect) Neptune in Pisces. This gorgeous aspect brings magical opportunities in love, money, beauty, and art. However, whenever Neptune is involved in an aspect, one should always watch out from wearing rose-coloured glasses and not seeing the whole picture. With Venus being retrograde, any opportunity that you’d like to seize should be meditated upon first. Capricorn is a very cautious and pragmatic sign; it seeks commitment. In all cases, whatever opportunity arises, if it’s meant to be, it’ll still be there or probably won’t even actualise (retrogrades slow everything down) until Venus goes direct on January 29th.

Also, starting this weekend (on January 7th), Venus goes invisible in the skies after completing her phase as an “evening star” (visible in the sky near sundown). It will make its exact inferior conjunction with the Sun on January 8th. Venus as an evening star corresponds to the archetype of Aphrodite, and her becoming invisible represents her descent into the underworld for purification, detachment of the material and earthly pleasures, and disillusion. Venus will remain invisible for 4 days preparing for her rebirth as a Morning Star on January 11th, corresponding to the archetype of Pallas Athena (the Greek Goddess of justice, wisdom, righteous war and strategy).

The Sun/Venus inferior conjunction is a period similar to a new moon where everything goes dark in the sky, and we have a completely blank canvas upon which to rewrite our love stories. You may even want to ritualise this. How about setting up an altar, complete with photos of your dream romantic scenario or favourite moments with your significant other? Surround it with crystals, pull a card from your favourite divination deck, and let it bathe in the sunbeams of the brightest window in your home. Or, if you’ve been hanging on to a toxic situation, scrawl that righteously rage-filled letter to the infuriating heartbreaker, then burn it ceremoniously instead of dropping it into the mailbox. Think of it as your own “Venus purification” ritual.

Then, when Venus becomes visible again as a Morning Star next week, all of us ladies will have the chance to step into our warrior goddess spiritual energy and realign ourselves with our true values. This moment represents “the birth of Venus’s spirit”.

The Venus/Neptune sextile will be most supportive of Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio, Taurus, and Capricorn.
