Dear NightFall Astrology readers,
Here we are: alive and starting another week! I guess it was last week’s Pisces stellium that won against the dangerous triple conjunction among Venus, Mars and Pluto in Capricorn (see my previous horoscope for more details)!
Venus and Mars are separating more and more from deadly Pluto now that they’re in Aquarius (they’ll remain there until mid-April). However, they conjoined again at 0° of Aquarius last Sunday, March 6th, which is also a critical degree, despite this sign’s lighter and more humanitarian and technological energy. As forecasted, no, a nuclear war didn’t start following the Russia/Ukraine conflict. Right after the conjunction, a ceasefire was agreed upon between both countries as negotiations continue, and Russia opened humanitarian corridors (very Aquarius and Pisces) via which people can be evacuated from Kyiv and several other Ukrainian cities.
Naturally, with Plutonian and Piscean energy being involved, we have a lot of behind-the-scenes talks and deals that are starting to come to light as the conjunction is separating and the New Moon’s energy is unfolding (such as the Iran Deal in which both Russia and the US are involved, i.e. the US signing of this deal would allow Tehran to get money to buy weapons from Russia).
Venus and Mars will remain in exact conjunction until March 11th, so the tension should start wearing off by the end of this week.
Here’s your weekly horoscope.
1. March 8th: International Women’s Day (the Moon’s trine to Venus and Mars):
If all of you ladies have been wondering whether you’ll enjoy your special day in 2022, well, I come bearing good news! The waxing quarter moon in Gemini illuminates new ways to pair up with your peers. Under these moderate moonbeams, it’s wise to let relationships unfold at a measured, organic pace. Start small, perhaps testing the waters with a one-off, short-term project. Since Gemini is the sign of the twins, you’re most likely to click with people who have similar talents and values. But consider this: too much sameness can lock you in an echo chamber. This may be the day you decide to branch out a little and mingle with people who challenge you (Venus conjunct Mars in Aquarius) to think differently. Power to your partnerships!
Also, try avoiding making any important plans between 3:35 PM and 7:39 PM (CET) as the Moon will be void of course (i.e. it won’t be making any aspects to other planets in the sky), which can lead us to a dead end. Things will stir up again in the evening for my European readers; as for those of you who are on the other side of the Atlantic, meeting like-minded people will hit off earlier in the day! But don’t worry, this positive trine will continue until Wednesday and Thursday, March 9th and 10th, when you’ll even get to solidify whatever partnerships you may be starting as the Moon will also trine Saturn in Aquarius.
This aspect will be most supportive of Aquarius, Gemini, Libra, Aries, and Sagittarius.
2. March 9th-10th: Mercury enters Pisces:
On March 9th and 10th (depending on your time zone), Mercury, the planet ruling our mind, thinking processes, perception and communication, slips out of structured and innovative Aquarius and enters the Piscean realm of dreams, imagination and the subconscious, joining the Sun, Jupiter and Neptune there! It will remain in this sign until March 27th.
Mercury has a hard time navigating Pisces’ deep emotional waters as it’s a very analytical and rational planet by default (it rules Gemini and Virgo and is considered to be exalted in the latter). Mercury is thus in fall (its weakest position) in Pisces. While the brain fog might be on the rise during this transit making us more distracted than usual, this is a great time to feed our minds with Piscean things! Listen to more music, take a deep dive into the arts, start journaling and recording your dreams, practise meditation and reconnect to your intuition to gain greater awareness of “the invisible world”!
Don’t waste time rehashing every word that was spoken. During this three-week cycle, what’s NOT being said contains more truth than any random musings or Twitter threads. Relax into a creative, compassionate mindset.
Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio, Taurus and Capricorn will be the most comfortable during this transit.
Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius will tend to be more tense and anxious.
3. March 10th-15th: Sun conjunct Neptune:
From March 10th until March 15th (exact on March 13th), the Sun will make its annual conjunction with Neptune in Pisces. This powerful aspect enhances our intuition, our sense of compassion and empathy, our spiritual side, our artistic inspiration, but also our illusions, gullibility and escapist tendencies. One thing to avoid? Pushing yourself to show up out of guilt or obligation. Not only will it be exhausting, but it may churn up serious resentment. Rather than blowing the big meeting, reschedule. Or change your tactics to something less rigid. As Neptune’s “go with the flow” spontaneity gets a playful boost from the Sun, a spur-of-the-moment strategy shift could clinch the deal! Take note that under this once-per-year mashup, showing your emotions will be viewed as a sign of strength, not weakness.
Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio, Taurus and Capricorn will benefit the most from this energy.
Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius should avoid giving into excessive nervousness and making ill-founded personal and financial decisions.
