Willful ideas, communication and action! Mars trine Uranus! Mercury conjunct Pluto! All Signs Collective Horoscope (February 7th-13th)

How does it feel like the roadblocks in your life falling one after the other with all the planets going direct since last week (February 4th)? Is the zest for life slowly but surely coming back to you?

The year didn’t start with a bang for most of us with all the ongoing retrogrades in January (Mercury, Venus, Uranus), but now we have the chance to strike while the intergalactic iron is hot, this three-month phase flashes a string of green lights, until Pluto shifts into its annual five-month backspin on April 29th.

Don’t give in to impulsivity and excessive risk-taking, though! With 4 planets in Capricorn, whatever big or small plans you’d like to execute, the key is to stay pragmatic and strategic to ensure the most satisfactory results. This week, inspired action after digging for ideas and information is the order of the day!

Here’s your weekly horoscope.

• From February 7th until February 10th (exact on February 8th), Mars in Capricorn will trine (the most harmonious aspect in astrology) Uranus in Taurus. All of us will be getting into the driver’s seat of our lives more than ever! This is tremendous energy to take reasonable risks to reach important goals or finish big projects that have been delayed because of the retrogrades, especially in career and finances.

This positive boost is even more enhanced with both Mars and Uranus forming another (less potent) harmonious configuration with Jupiter in Pisces called a minor Grand Trine or a bissextile. Jupiter will help expand the flow of original ideas translated into immediate and decisive action, with Mars being exalted (its 3rd best position) in Capricorn. Our drive to get ahead will be very intense, so it would be advisable not to rush into situations like a feisty Aries but skillfully create processes and workflow systems before you start throwing around cash. Or maybe you need to modernise the ones you have. Uranus in Taurus loves “upgrading” to the latest tech trends that can simplify our daily grind. Find an app that makes your life easier so you can return home for a family dinner, an evening workout and some good old-fashioned unwinding.

This transit will be most supportive of Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo, Pisces, and Cancer. 

• From February 8th until February 14th (exact on February 11th), Mercury in will conjoin (the strongest aspect in astrology) Pluto in Capricorn. This is their final conjunction in Capricorn, part of a three-peat that began on December 30th and sequeled on January 28th while Mercury was retrograde.

This 3rd conjunction will be the most intense one for 2 reasons: first, Mercury will be finally visible to the naked eye as a Morning Star (it will be visible from February 7th until February 15th for those of you who live in Europe); second, both Mercury and Pluto will be trining the North Node in Taurus and sextiling the South Node in Scorpio (both are harmonious aspects).

When Mercury conjoins Pluto, our mind, intuition, and communication are sharpened; we’re in full-on detective mode. The subconscious mind is in sync with the conscious mind. This conjunction usually brings intuitive hits and transformative insights, but these tête-a-têtes also force us to peer into our shadows. Did you discover something unsettling as Mercury unlocked Pluto’s secret vault? Wait, don’t point the finger. The “bad news insight” may have been a jarring realisation about your own unconscious patterns. Like it or not, you may have colluded with someone’s egregious behaviour. Perhaps you feared being ostracised for speaking up or losing something (or someone) that brought a false sense of security.

The truths that will be revealed this final and third time around will be the most extreme, with Mercury rising high in the morning sky as “Apollo” (the God of light in Greek mythology, the God who made men aware of their own guilt and purified them of it; who presided over religious law and the constitutions of cities; and who communicated with mortals through prophets and oracles his knowledge of the future and the will of his father, Zeus (Roman: Jupiter)). Apollo and Hades (Pluto) will be marching side by side, bringing to the surface unsettling buried truths regarding long-lasting situations and relationships (personal or professional). In some cases, the solution may veer into “extreme” territory, like ending a relationship or issuing a no-nonsense ultimatum that you’re prepared to make good on. In other instances, you could literally clear the air by coming clean about the pain you’ve been hiding. Timing is everything, so try to find a peaceful slot on the schedule (perhaps over the weekend), so you don’t have to rush through your talks.

The positive aspects that this conjunction will be making to the nodal axis will enhance the gravity and seriousness of it all because anything revealed will be karmic, i.e. inevitable. This is when knowledge becomes power, this is when you can find your voice, this is when you can understand life at its core. On a mundane level, this is when political, financial and sex secrets and scandals will be revealed for the benefit of humanity (the dispositor of the conjunction is Saturn in Aquarius, and we also have Aquarius’s second ruler, Uranus, in Taurus in the same sign as the North Node indicating where we’re headed towards (what’s truly valuable for us) for the next 18.5 months).

On a personal and collective level, we will all have to come to terms with specific situations and heal or let go of them in order to rise from the ashes like a phoenix.

The final Mercury/Pluto conjunction will be most significant for Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, and Libra.

Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio and Pisces will have the opportunity to break through stuck situations for lack of information, inspiration or concentration. 

• On February 10th and 11th, the Moon in Gemini will be making a lovely trine with the Sun and Saturn in Aquarius. This brings great emotional stability for the air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius), giving them the will to move forward with confidence.

The water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) will benefit from similar energy, with stronger optimism though, on February 12th, when the Moon in its own sign of Cancer will trine Jupiter in Pisces. This aspect will bring compassion, empathy, hope for the future, and artistic inspiration for all of us.
