Do you feel the momentum building up? As I’m writing this, it’s been barely a day since Uranus stationed direct (the last retrograde planet on the Universe’s waiting list), and blockages have definitely started to be removed in many situations in my life.

So, mark your calendars (for those of you who still haven’t): until April 21st, ALL PLANETS ARE DIRECT! Meaning that for the next 3 months, it’s time for you to go forward and work on your dreams, goals, and manifestations! Expect things to be fast-paced and get feedback quickly from the Universe based on your actions. If you’re doing something that doesn’t feel aligned, you’ll realise that immediately, versus if you’re doing something in alignment, you’ll really reinforce that.

After several months of many planetary retrogrades, we can finally say that the New Year is here!

And this week, the skies are particularly supportive of this momentum, with Venus entering its exaltation sign of Pisces and the Sun making some super supportive aspects to Jupiter and Mars! Yes, you read that right! There are no major challenging aspects this week, so make the best out of it!

Now, let’s get into the details of this week’s forecast.

1. The Sun sextiles Jupiter:

From January 23rd until January 27th (exact on January 25th), the Sun in Aquarius makes a gorgeous sextile with Jupiter in Aries. This harmonious aspect signals feeling more upbeat and optimistic, having more influence and authority, a stronger sense of integrity, a broader outlook on life, and serendipitous opportunities!

It’s an excellent period for foreign and legal affairs, teaching, and publishing.

This transit will be most fortunate for Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, Gemini, and Aquarius.

2. Venus enters Pisces:

As the Sun spends its first full week in Aquarius, a new and exciting dynamism permeates the globe. Nevertheless, when connecting to the network, it is important to be able to disconnect just as quickly. To what end? Venus, the planet of love and beauty, will join dreamy Neptune in Pisces on Thursday/Friday, January 26th/27th (depending on your time zone) and remain there until Tuesday, February 20th. Cupid might arrive on an early flight, and if he does, good luck avoiding the onslaught of charm he’ll unleash. Venus is exalted in Pisces—one of its most potent placements on the zodiac wheel (it’s royally lifted there)! In this phase of Venus, rose-coloured glasses are a necessity. And if you squint just right, you can find poetry in anything.

This enchanted transit may spark a romantic and artistic renaissance, but you’ll need to take it easy to appreciate it fully. Allow yourself time to reflect, daydream, and woo your inspiration. When you take some time to unwind, you put yourself in a receptive state that’s perfect for heart-opening experiences. While Venus’s spell remains in effect, even mundane tasks can take on a mystical quality. Instead of rushing from bed to coffee maker to laptop, take some time in the morning to write in a journal and enjoy a cup of loose-leaf tea.

The downside of Venus in Pisces is that it can make people a bit gullible. The sign of Pisces excels at deception (and delusions). While this approach may be fruitful when writing poetry, it is not always reliable when selecting a life partner. If you want to avoid falling head over heels for someone who isn’t completely available or reliable, it’s important to do your research first.

Venus’s transit through Pisces will be most pleasant for Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer, Taurus, and Capricorn.

3. An exalted first quarter Moon in Taurus:

Our daily celestial tracker (Luna) will also join Venus in the exaltation scheme this week! 2 feminine planets are on their thrones? It couldn’t get better than that!

On Saturday, January 28th, the Moon will be in refined Taurus for its waxing quarter, making it a good time to look under the proverbial hood. If you’re feeling worn down or overworked, take it as a signal from your body to slow down and give yourself some much-deserved TLC, just like the driver of a high-end sports car. Do not skip the inspection in the interest of time, as doing so could prevent an unexpected breakdown. Reject what isn’t serving you and prepare for what might be waiting just beyond your line of sight. Yet, avoid excessive simplification. Attractive Taurus appreciates the finer things in life. Infuse some simple elegance into the areas of your life that have seen better days.

The Moon’s transit through its exaltation sign of Taurus will be most favourable for Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo, Cancer, and Pisces.

4. The Sun trines Mars:

From January 27th until February 1st (exact on January 29th-30th), the creative Aquarius Sun forms a harmonious trine with quick-thinking Mars in Gemini, making this a great time for discussions that start with “wouldn’t it be crazy if…” and end with a new and exciting idea. Have someone take copious notes or use a recording app like Otter. When the planets are in league, new ideas come in like a whirlwind, and you’ll have to keep your wits about you or risk forgetting them. Both planets are in friendly air signs, so you shouldn’t be surprised if people warm up to your innovative ideas and even offer to lend a hand in making them a reality. However, you should ensure everyone is trustworthy before you let them aboard. Do they also have a loyal attitude to go along with their savvy brains? Those who make the cut are welcome to join in the celebration.

This transit will be most favourable for Gemini, Aquarius, Libra, Leo, and Aries.
