Relationship spotlight! Mars enters Libra! Venus square Saturn! All Signs Collective Horoscope (September 13th-19th)

We start the week with the Neptunian fog we’ve been experiencing since the weekend being intensified on Monday and Tuesday, September 13th and 14th. Hold your horses when it comes to communications, decision-making and important actions, especially in relationships, as they will be in the spotlight this week. Here’s your weekly horoscope.

• On September 13th-14th, the Sun in Virgo will be making its exact annual opposition (tense aspect) with Neptune retrograde in Pisces. Many of us – especially the more sensitive souls – will feel a lack of energy, anxiety and worry, difficulty in concentration and discernment. These couple of days can also bring with them health issues, so stay safe and practise mindfulness as much as you can.

On the more positive side, this opposition can bring an overflow of creative ideas that can be put into practice after the Mercury retrograde is over.

This transit will be most challenging for Pisces, Gemini, Sagittarius, and Virgo. 

Scorpio and Cancer can find themselves having quite a few aha moments through meditation and other relaxation techniques.

• On September 14th-15th (depending on your time zone), Mars will enter Libra and remain in this sign until October 30th. This is a halt to our drive and action as Mars is in detriment in this sign; Libra is the opposing sign of Aries, which Mars rules. The combative planet isn’t exactly at home in this conflict-averse sign. However, in these conflictual times, this isn’t an entirely bad thing.

Effective fighting requires strength with measured force. That’s exactly the hybrid energy Mars in Libra can bring. Get fired up about justice, then cool down long enough to create a sound battle plan. Aim to be effective, not destructive. Mars in Libra is looking for creating partnerships and negotiating, but it also lacks responsibility and likes to play the blame game. This can raise friction in relationships as Mars boosts and energises any sign it’s in. Tackle such situations with as much diplomacy as you can.

Libra, Capricorn, Aries and Cancer will be most negatively affected by this transit. They should be more patient and flexible and accept the inevitable obstacles that this transit will bring.

Aquarius, Gemini, Leo and Sagittarius will have the energy to finish up any lingering projects.

• From September 16th until September 19th, Mercury in Libra will form a gorgeous trine with Jupiter retrograde in Aquarius. This is harmonious and positive energy for negotiations, meetings, studying and revising, prepping for exams, and accurate assessments. This accomplishment-oriented energy will be strengthened by the Sun in Virgo trining Pluto retrograde in Capricorn.

These aspects are particularly supportive of Aquarius, Libra, Gemini, Aries, Sagittarius, and Leo. They should make the best of these days if they have to negotiate or sign any contracts before Mercury turns retrograde on September 27th. 

• We end the week with Venus in Scorpio squaring (tense aspect) Saturn retrograde in Aquarius, from September 17th until September 19th. This is challenging energy for romantic relationships, friendships, starting new personal relationships, settling financial issues and situations, and can intensify depressive attitudes and low-vibrational mood swings. Squares are a call to action: instead of people-pleasing, make a commitment you know you can keep.

September 16th will be particularly difficult emotionally, with the Moon in Capricorn making an exact conjunction with Pluto retrograde.

This transit will be most challenging for Aquarius, Leo, Scorpio, and Taurus. They should try their best to be more compassionate and understanding with others. 

If you feel frustrated, restricted and isolated in your relationships this week, remember: “If we are to live life in harmony with the Universe, we must all possess a powerful faith in what the ancients used to call “fatum”, what we currently refer to as destiny”.
