Radical reinvention of our values! Pluto stations retrograde! Solar Eclipse in Taurus! All Signs Collective Horoscope (April 25th-May 1st)

Are you ready for a radical paradigm shift and levelling up in your psyche and values? I hope you are because this is the week when it all starts! Fasten your seatbelts; it’s time for a wild transformative ride into the best version of you…

This week marks the first eclipse season of 2022, and this set of eclipses that have started in late 2021, with the North Node in Taurus (indicating an increase of the energy of this sign) and the South Node in Scorpio (indicating a decrease of the energy of this sign), will continue until July 2023. This is a time for an enormous transformation of our values, self-esteem, relationship to food, money, currency, and the Earth in general (all things Taurus), alongside our psyche, subconscious, intuition, shared resources, investments, our views on death/rebirth, the occult and secrets (all things Scorpio). Naturally, since it’s an axis/polarity, any changes on one side will affect the other. Taurus/Scorpio is the money and wealth axis, so any misuse and/or mismanagement of material resources (Taurus) will result in their destruction, loss, and the exposure/prosecution of the perpetrators of such acts (Scorpio).

With Pluto stationing retrograde one day before the solar eclipse, all of the above will be put into deep introspection.

Here’s your weekly horoscope.

1. The Venus/Neptune conjunction:

From April 26th until April 29th (exact on April 27th), Venus (the planet of human love) will merge with its higher octave, Neptune (the planet of divine and unconditional love), in their sign of exaltation and rulership, respectively: Pisces. This brings an energy of overflow of imagination, inspiration, compassion, empathy, love, and forgiveness on the positive side. On the negative side, it can make us more gullible, so stay away from “too-good-to-be-true” people and situations.

This transit will be felt most positively by Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio, Taurus, and Capricorn. 

2. The Mercury/Pluto trine:

From April 26th until April 30th (exact on April 28th), Mercury (the planet of ideas, communication, and short-distance travel) in steady and methodical Taurus will trine (harmonious aspect) detective and laser-sharp Pluto in Capricorn.

This is excellent energy for more profound communications, mental Insights into secrets, hidden, forbidden or psychological matters, research and investigation. It’s also favourable for all business, commercial and financial activities or negotiations, especially those regarding mutual/shared resources. Short-distance travel arrangements are also supported with this energy.

This transit will be most supportive of Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, and Pisces.

3. Pluto stations retrograde and Mercury enters Gemini:

Mic drops: incoming! Voluble Mercury throws a homecoming rager this Friday, April 29th, as it zooms into its own sign of Gemini and pours a double shot of articulation! There’s no time like the present to start working on your memoir, record a podcast episode or stream multi-screen TikToks, or Instagram Lives with guests. While Mercury is in Gemini until May 22nd, it’s dynamic duos for the win! Wordplay is foreplay during this cycle, and intellectual repartee will be the ultimate glue for kindred spirits. But plan ahead! A retrograde begins May 10th, which may cause technical difficulties and data issues. Back up all those files!

Also, on April 29th, and on a more serious note, Pluto stations retrograde and appears as if it isn’t moving anymore. When Pluto slams on its brakes, it creates a giant jolt in our lives. When Pluto stations retrograde, its energy goes inward and brings with it a deep internal crisis in order to transform us. We’re going to feel the effect of this stationing until late June (June 22nd to be precise). Since it’s going to be retrograde, instead of seeing the outward transformation in the world, we’re going to be affected profoundly and psychologically. It’s going to station retrograde at exactly 28°36′ (which can be rounded to 29°), so we’re already in the energy of the critical degree of Capricorn. What is Capricorn? It’s the authority figures in our lives (bosses, fathers, professors…), the government, hierarchies, the economy, our careers, our own inner authority and our ability to merge this sign’s two horns (the material/visible and the spiritual/invisible) into one. Thus, over the next five months, we’re going to have to reflect upon the critical changes we’ve been seeing so far in these areas, how they have affected us, and how they have/are making and pushing us to become stronger and rise from the ashes.

Mercury’s transit through Gemini will be felt most strongly by Gemini, Pisces, Virgo, and Sagittarius.

Pluto’s stationing and retrograde motion will be most intense for Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, and Libra.

4. The Partial Solar Eclipse in Taurus:

On April 30th, the star astrological event of the week – the partial solar eclipse in 11° of Taurus – will take place at 10:28 PM (CET)! A solar eclipse is a New Moon on steroids bringing dramatic, fated and unexpected new beginnings and paradigm shifts, especially regarding leaders and people in charge on a mundane level. Remember, though, a new moon is actually dark and invisible in the sky, and with this being a solar eclipse, the Sun will also be partially blocked/hidden by the Moon’s penumbral shadow, which gives a double darkness effect!

Without the light of the Moon, its hidden symbolism may suggest it as a time of “wait and see”. You may find it to be a time more practically spent observing, dreaming and taking in experience rather than any outward action. Initiate from the level of intention rather than clear and public action. The notion of new beginnings makes this a receiving and collecting time. Think of the conjunction between the Sun and the Moon as a closed door of a house. The door and the hinges are tightly fit, keeping the interior from plain view. All you see is a door. This door is your starting place. You don’t know what your next action may be until the door opens enough for you to catch a peek into the house. What you find may be friendly or not. More will be revealed as the Moon’s light starts growing into a waxing crescent moon.

A Solar Eclipse creates a change that can be felt in our personal affairs over the next 6 months and, on a larger scale, over the next 18.5 years. This can be a time when we promote enterprise and other self-interest. A Solar Eclipse will push matters to the forefront for immediate attention. The time around the Solar Eclipse is a hectic time filled with stress and demands. It can be viewed as a progressive brainstorming process that develops over a period (its effects can be felt up to 2 weeks to one month beforehand!). Again, the invisible Moon at the time of the eclipse makes this an unpredictable time, leaving a period of unknowns to be revealed later. This is a time to proceed with caution when engaging in new projects.

Many of us notice dramatic changes near eclipse dates. I, myself, lost a dear friend about 10 days ago in the most sudden and shocking of ways… We can also note at the time of the eclipse that the energy grid lines along the path of an eclipse are dramatically wider. Extreme weather, major disasters, and other dramatic events occur immediately around an eclipse.

A partial solar eclipse isn’t as intense as a total one, but it’s still a pretty big deal energetically.

This Solar Eclipse in Taurus will make a harmonious astrological configuration called a “Minor Grand Trine” to Pluto, Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune. But it’ll also be in conjunction with Uranus, so the energy will be very transformative and healing, but also very radical and sudden. The Moon is also exalted in Taurus, which sprinkles a little bit more positivity on the general picture.

Taurus uses its five senses to become aware of the world around it. Scorpio understands that it took somebody’s imagination long ago to make any material object. The Taurus New Moon/Solar Eclipse opposing the Scorpio South Node is asking you to take a deep look into your intuition, to open up your heart. Uranus is asking you to level up, be better, and come from the higher mind. You’re reinventing your values, subconscious and psyche. A paradigm shift will be happening in the world and inside each one of us. Imagine who would you become without any limitations! With Uranus there, it will be massively disruptive too, and you will feel like you’re losing before you win. But, you’ll have to because Pluto stationing rips things away from you, and Uranus makes things crazy.

What can you level up on? Your money, your investments, people investing in your business or simply yourself through love and support, ask for what you need from others to help you level up. And don’t forget to use your imagination to do these things: use your imagination to change your relationship with currency, money, food, self-worth/esteem, and the Earth in general. These are all Taurus things that you can see DIFFERENTLY! Take this opportunity to make better use of technology in your life, for example! Register for a new online class, get a new phone, learn about cryptocurrencies…!

Step away from relationships that put you down, and don’t let you stand in your power. Be around people who love you!

This New Moon’s dispositor is Venus (exalted) in Pisces conjunct Jupiter and Neptune! Again, we’re in the depths of faith, imagination, and divine love! Have faith in your ideas, and dare to take the first step! You have divine support to innovate your life right now! Whatever commitment you make right now will benefit you for the next six months, until the next lunar eclipse in Taurus that will be taking place on November 6th!

The last time we had a similar eclipse was on May 19th, 1985, at 29° of Taurus. The nodes usually take 18.5 years to go through the entire zodiac, so yes, the last time they were in Taurus and Scorpio was in 2003/2004, but back then, we didn’t have any solar eclipses in Taurus, so we’ll have to go back another 18.5 years, which brings us to 1985. Pluto was also stationary retrograde, so the energy is very similar.

Here are some of the key world events that coincided with the 1985 partial Solar Eclipse in Taurus:

• US naval officer John Anthony Walker Jr. is observed by the FBI in the act of passing classified naval communications to the Soviet Union and is immediately arrested.
• Scientists from the British Antarctic Survey announced the discovery of a hole in the ozone layer.
• The US fishing vessel Arctic Mist capsizes and sinks in the Gulf of Alaska east of Kodiak, Alaska. The boat’s four occupants are rescued.
• A car bomb in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, kills 48 people.
• Heysel Stadium disaster: At the Heysel Stadium in Brussels, Belgium, 39 people, mostly Italian, were killed during a stampede before the 1985 European Cup Final between Juventus F.C. and Liverpool F.C. English football hooligans were deemed mainly responsible for the occurrence, resulting in English clubs being banned from European competition for five years. Several top officials, police captain Johan Mahieu, and 14 Liverpool fans were eventually convicted of manslaughter.
• A tornado outbreak occurs on May 31st, 1985, in the US states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and the Canadian province of Ontario. Fourteen of the 44 tornadoes are in Ontario, where the event becomes known as the Barrie tornado outbreak. Ninety people lose their lives.

As you can see, the main themes revolved around environmental/Earth issues and disasters (Taurus) and crimes being committed, exposed, and then prosecuted (Scorpio). 

Numerologically, 11° of Taurus reduces to a 2, which is linked to the Moon in astrology, adding to the extremely emotional nature of this eclipse but also stressing the necessity to be more generous with our loved ones in order to receive our blessings. This is a time when strong emotional and soulmate bonds are possible if you just BELIEVE!

Finally, this eclipse will be visible from South America and the South Pacific. These will be the geographical zones that will be most affected by it.

This eclipse will be felt most intensely by Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, and Aquarius. Especially those of you who have your Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven, IC or any other important planet or point in your chart around 11° of these signs (give or take 2-3 degrees).
