How have you been feeling since last week’s intense once-in-a-lifetime Mars/Uranus/North Node triple conjunction in Taurus and the expansive New Moon in Leo? Did you undertake any radical new beginnings and shifts? Did you make a sudden jump into the future? Note that any unexpected events that have started happening in your life will continue to unfold until the end of August. Last week was only the peak of this very rare celestial event. It has started two new intertwined cycles: one that will last for the next 15 years (Uranus and the North Node meet every 15 years) and a longer one that will impact humanity until 2,357! So yeah, a lot going on there!

On a mundane level, we’ve already seen some significant events, such as California and France’s wildfires, the American/Chinese political tension caused by the House of Representatives speaker Nancy Pelosi’s highest-level U.S. visit to Taiwan in 25 years, and the U.S. killing the Al Qaeda’s leader in Kabul.

Anyways, I’m sure all of you have been following the news, but such an acceleration of events (Mars/Uranus) is remarkable (even for a professional astrologer)!

Thankfully, this week, Venus’s sweetness, empathy and cosiness in Cancer will be soothing a little bit all of this tension with the harmonious aspects it’ll be making to Mars, Uranus, and Neptune. We do have a frustrating halt (the Mars/Saturn square becomes exact this week) that had already started during the triple conjunction that will push us to stop, reevaluate, and analyse our strategy thanks to Mercury entering its sign of exaltation: Virgo.

Let’s unpack this week’s horoscope.

1. Venus’s sextile to Mars, Uranus and the North Node, and its trine to Neptune:

a) Venus sextile Mars and Uranus:

It’s time to grab those sudden opportunities in money, love, and passion! From July 31st until August 5th (exact on August 1st and 2nd, respectively), Venus in Cancer will sextile (harmonious aspect) Mars, Uranus, and the North Node, still all conjunct, in Taurus.

This is an extraordinary time to jump out of any romantic or business ruts! Your actions will bear their fruit! This energy brings men and women closer together, so turn the romance button on! It’s also excellent for new out-of-the-box business partnerships and ideas, any activities in beauty, fashion, art, friendly sports, and social events. Luxury purchases and physical makeovers are supported too! It’s time to jazz up your style a little bit for the summer, ladies!

With the North Node in the equation, any newness entering your life will be karmic and potentially long-lasting.

This aspect will be most beneficial for Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo, Pisces, and Cancer. 

b) Venus trine Neptune:

From August 6th to August 9th (exact on August 7th), Venus in Cancer will trine (harmonious aspect) Neptune retrograde in Pisces, dissolving boundaries. This is tremendous energy to establish closer connections with people (most probably from the past) through empathy, compassion, and tenderness. Whimsical romance will be in the air too! The question is: Is it true love or just an illusion? With Venus drifting through sensitive Cancer, feelings are tender, and empathic Neptune in Pisces amplifies every mood. Intimate feelings are always “real,” in some sense; you wouldn’t be experiencing them otherwise. But are they meant to last? This weekend, that’s impossible to tell. If you want to enjoy the moment, stop focusing on the clock. The relationship may not last forever, but the dreamy memory will!

This will also be a very productive time for artists, especially regarding projects they have been having a hard time finishing or have even put aside.

This aspect will be most supportive of Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio, Taurus, and Capricorn.

2. Mercury enters Virgo:

Ready, set, systematise! On Thursday, August 4th, mental Mercury hosts a homecoming parade through Virgo, its native turf, giving us three weeks to whip our lives into an efficient groove. Keeping too much data in your head? That’s a recipe for stress. Bring order to the chaos by syncing calendars and automating where you can. Tap into secure apps that can help you stay organised. Pre-schedule bill payments, transfers to savings and other routine monthly transactions. With the communication planet in this healthy zodiac sign, you can successfully start (and sustain) new habits by writing things down and planning ahead. But keep it simple! Steer clear of social situations that ramp up your anxiety. If a decision has left you with analysis paralysis, hit the brakes and do more research before making a move.

This transit will impact Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius, and Pisces the most.

3. Mars square Saturn:

Here’s another reason to slow it down this weekend: from August 5th until August 11th (exact on August 7th), Mars in Taurus, which has had you climbing steadily toward your goals since July 5th, will ground your high-flying starship thanks to a buzzkill from sceptical Saturn retrograde in Aquarius. It’s great to dream like the sky’s the limit. But it’s also important to check the atmospheric pressure, cloud coverage and other weather-related concerns. You don’t want to be the downer in the room, telling people, “That will never work!” But do plan to run every genius idea through a set of serious tests before passing “GO.” If critics poke holes in your plan, don’t dismiss their feedback. This could be a hidden blessing, motivating you to tighten up your concept or apply smarter science to your approach. Is your current team failing to live up to the dream? Perhaps their “mutiny” is frustration in disguise. Before you cut anyone loose, listen to their complaints. They may be privy to insights that you’ve overlooked.

This aspect will be most challenging for Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio, and Leo.
