Get ready for an intense week, to say the least!
Right off the bat, we’re starting it with an explosive Super Full Moon happening on Tuesday morning, April 27th at 5:31 AM (CET), at 7°06′ of Scorpio.
Why is it a Super Moon? Well, because astronomically, the Moon will be very close to Earth at this time.
Normally, Full Moons’ energy can be felt up to 2 days before and after the day it becomes exact, but this time, its effects can last up to 3 months. Full Moons are about endings, releases, culminations, and bringing to light what has been hidden or unknown.
This will be a difficult Full Moon: it’s in its fall sign (Scorpio) and is making a T-Square (a very tense aspect) with Saturn in Aquarius. In mundane astrology, the Moon represents the people. Given this Full Moon’s intensity and the fact that it’s happening in the sign of mortality, death/rebirth, transformation, crisis, healing, the hidden, other people’s money, the occult, deep research and investigation, subconscious traumas are triggered around the world: money issues, lockdowns and other governmental restrictions. Even more so because of the degree in which the Full Moon is happening: 7° of Scorpio, and 7 is numerologically linked to Neptune ruling the collective unconscious, spirituality, escapism, and illusions. So, indeed, intense emotions buried deep within will come to the surface.
Saturn in Aquarius remains the strongest planet during this full moon and will remain so for the rest of the year. Thus, rules, regulations, law and order will win again. Aquarius is linked to social conditions, and people might rebel through innovative means in money and the stock market (such as cryptocurrency), which has already been happening and will continue to happen. The economy and our money are in focus here because of the Taurus stellium (we currently have 4 planets in this sign: the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Uranus). Challenging information regarding restrictions might come out as well.
Nonetheless, we have mitigating conditions that lessen the harshness of this Full Moon. Mars (the first dispositing planet of this Full Moon) and the Moon are in a mutual reception through a trine (harmonious aspect). What is mutual reception in astrology? 2 planets are said to be in mutual reception when they’re in each other’s signs. Here, we have the Moon in Scorpio (Mars traditionally rules this sign) and Mars in Cancer (ruled by the Moon).
Planets in a mutual reception help each other. Both planets are in their fall signs, though, which means they’re weakened. This gives way to intense emotional outbursts. Hard living circumstances may trigger people into impulsive action. Mars represents the military and the police; some of these forces might side with the people in protests and acts of rebellion.
Pluto, the 2nd dispositor of this Full Moon (Pluto co-rules Scorpio with Mars), goes retrograde the same day, for 6 months until October 6th. This type of alignment doesn’t happen very often, which intensifies the energies even more. There’s a slowdown, and we’re pushed towards digging deep into our psyche and releasing what isn’t growing and doesn’t serve us anymore. Pluto will kill/eliminate by force all situations and things that we’re stubbornly holding onto if we don’t. Situations from the past can be brought back for a final ‘judgement’.
Since Scorpio rules mortality, we might be more aware of death than usual; there also might be an increase in deaths.
There will be a powerful resistance towards ending or releasing certain things in our lives at this Full Moon because of the T-Square with Saturn. Depending on the condition of your Saturn (strong or weak) in your birth chart, the level of your resistance towards letting go of things, people, and/or situations will be more or less strong.
The Moon will also be in a YOD (a special aspect called “the finger of God”) formed by 2 inconjunctions (150° angles) and one sextile (60° angle) with the North Node in Gemini and Chiron in Aries. YODs are karmic aspects, so, whatever comes to light during this period, is divinely orchestrated and will bring healing for all of us.
This Full Moon will be the most challenging for the fixed signs: Scorpio, Leo, Taurus, and Aquarius.
- From April 29th until May 1st (becomes exact on April 30th), Mercury in Taurus will be sextiling Neptune in Pisces. This is harmonious energy for communicating or getting inspiration for any artistic, spiritual, and healing endeavours.
Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Taurus will benefit the most from this aspect.
Virgo and Gemini should watch their communications and avoid jumping to hasty conclusions.
- Also, on April 30th, the Sun will conjoin Uranus in Taurus. This is excellent energy for innovation in financial matters. Sudden and quick changes can be made in all things ruled by Taurus: beauty, material matters, diet, money, values.
This energy supports Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo, Cancer and Pisces.
Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius should be careful with going overboard with their spending. Unexpected expenses could come up as well.
- On May 1st and 2nd, Mercury in Taurus will be trining (harmonious aspect) Pluto in Capricorn. This is a powerful aspect for disruptive/out-of-the-box business communications that can lead to long-term steady projects and contracts. It can also bring old career/business situations that have been left unresolved.
Capricorn, Virgo, Taurus, Scorpio and Pisces should boss up and make things happen with this type of energy.
Cancer, Aries and Libra shouldn’t push their negotiations too hard.
- On May 2nd-3rd, Venus in Taurus (its home sign) will be sextiling Neptune in Pisces. Absolutely gorgeous energy for art, beauty, spirituality, and even money/material manifestation! There’s a magical component to this aspect! Take advantage of it!
Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio, Taurus and Capricorn should work their magic in the above-mentioned areas.
Virgo and Gemini should avoid overdoing it and keep their expectations realistic and grounded.
Don’t be afraid to release the negativity from your life this week!
