Extreme wanderlust with a pinch of realism! Super Full Moon in Sagittarius! Mercury re-enters Gemini! Venus square Saturn! All Signs Collective Horoscope (June 13th-19th)

Dear NightFall Astrology readers,

This week’s energies are all about finding the balance between the ‘big picture’ and the details of a situation or our lives in general. Whatever transpires with the Super Full Moon in Sagittarius, it’ll bring a final closure regarding long-lasting Sagittarian-ruled matters in our lives: faith and optimism, belief systems, universal truths, international matters (travel, foreigners, foreign languages), freedom, morality, philosophy, higher education, justice and the Law.

Whatever it is, we’ll have the courage to acknowledge the matter that’s being illuminated and let ourselves be filled with a strong sense of independence again. Letting go of burdensome situations activates a desire for limitless expansion. Still, we should all keep our feet firmly on the ground, as deception and illusion will also be in the air. Thankfully, the Sun and Mercury in Gemini are making us look at the facts and remain realistic; we won’t have a choice with the upcoming Venus/Saturn square at the end of the week. Flying to the Sun without a plan isn’t really an option here. This isn’t an adventure novel but an organised explorer’s journey.

Here’s your weekly horoscope.

1. Mercury direct re-enters Gemini:

Is the grass really greener on the other side of the fence? You won’t know until you meander over and check it out for yourself. This Monday, June 13th, is perfect for semi-random discovery missions, as curious Mercury shifts back into its home sign of Gemini for three more weeks. This is the buzzy messenger planet’s second trip through Twinseltown. Look back to see what surfaced from April 29th to May 22nd, and moreover, whom? A friendship that kindled then dwindled could get a second act. Slide into those DMs and re-break the ice with a witty line, interesting link or some other clever conversation starter.

We’re slowly getting out of the fogginess of Mercury retrograde as the messenger of the Gods will officially get out of its shadow zone on Sunday, June 19th.

The much-needed clarity in our minds and communications that Mercury re-entering Gemini will bring will be most beneficial for Gemini, Leo, Aquarius, Libra, and Aries.

2. The Super Full Moon in Sagittarius:

On Tuesday, June 14th, at exactly 1:52 PM (CET), we’ll be witnessing the star event of the week lightning up the skies: the Super Full Moon in 24° of Sagittarius! Full Moons are always about endings, realisations/illumination, and closure.

Where have you been dragged down for a while in your life when it comes to your belief system, sense of adventure and freedom, higher education, and/or international matters? Any questions about such matters that have been sparked around the New Moon TOTAL SOLAR eclipse in 13° of Sagittarius that took place on December 4th, 2021, are being answered (with a little bit of confusion) on this Full Moon.

Why do I mention confusion? Well, the Full Moon will be making a T-square (challenging aspect) to Neptune in Pisces, the planet ruling imagination, deception, confusion, spirituality, and unconditional love. Such energy opens the door to emotional outbursts, restlessness, and insomnia due to misunderstandings or disappointments. Thankfully, any of that can be clarified with a good dose of pragmatism (such as seeing the situation from a very unusual but logical angle or getting advice from an older person) as the Full Moon will also be sextiling Saturn retrograde in Aquarius. You’ll have to be willing to make an effort to ground yourself, though.

Drama and wounded egos can go over the top under these moonbeams, as the Full Moon’s dispositing planet, Jupiter, is transiting feisty Aries and will still be in a loose conjunction with Mars (the planet of war and anger). Many of us will be more sensitive than usual and could get easily offended, as Mars will also be in an exact conjunction with asteroid Chiron, the wounded healer. There’s an evolutionary opportunity for our souls here though: let those ego wounds out in the open and treat yourself and others with compassion (that’s the effort asked from us by the T-square to Neptune).

On a more positive note, work travel could take you to exciting ports over the next two weeks. Since Sagittarius rules education, sign up for a seminar in a different city…and see if the company will cover (some) costs. Got a skill to pass along? Teaching could pad your pockets, or if you need to brush up to keep up, sign up for the necessary training. (Your wallet will thank you.) The enterprising energy of this full Moon is like a round of celestial start-up “funding.” If you have an idea for a business—or a project that will put your name on the company leaderboard—the mission could really get in motion over the next two weeks. The only requirement? A willingness to stick your neck out for what you believe in!

Do you need to diversify your dating portfolio? If you keep going out with the same person in a different package over and over (and over!), that would be an obvious “yes!” And that goes double for couples who have slipped into an old-marrieds groove. Yawn, no more! This fiery and excitement-boosting full supermoon activates the spirit of adventure! Expand beyond comfortable and familiar “borders.” Favoured now? Multicultural mingling, vacations and romantic retreats where you can learn a sultry new skill like erotic massage or tantra. How far are you willing to travel beyond your comfort zone? Are you stuck in a rut? A nakedly honest conversation can bring back the heat.

On a mundane level, this full Moon can play out like some untruths becoming public or deceptive means being used to manipulate the public morals/principles. There can be some critical developments regarding international travel, higher education, judicial system or religious system which need to be addressed.

Numerologically, 24° of Sagittarius reduces to a 6, which is linked to Venus, the planet of love, pleasure, and harmony, currently transiting its home sign of Taurus and separating from its conjunction with Uranus. This emphasises, even more, the need for the abovementioned balance between the spirit of adventure (Sagittarius) and an objective look at the details of a situation (Gemini), as a Full Moon is always formed by an opposition between the Sun and the Moon.

This Full Moon will be felt most intensely by Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. Especially those of you who have your Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven, IC or any other important planet or point in your chart around 24° of these signs (give or take 2-3 degrees).

3. Venus square Saturn & Venus sextile Neptune:

From June 17th until June 20th (exact on June 18th), Venus will be showering us with some mixed energies. On one hand, we’ll be faced with a reality check in our relationships and finances, and on the other hand, we’ll be in for a dose of artistic inspiration and compassionate socialising.

a) Venus square Saturn:

Doe-eyed Venus in Taurus gets body-checked by structured, pragmatic Saturn in Aquarius. Which means, come down from Cloud 9 and deal with what’s actually happening. This could be a minor issue or a major ordeal. Either way, a pragmatic approach is warranted. While it’s never fun to learn things the hard way, make sure you track the teachings of this tough lesson! But don’t punish yourself—that won’t help heal your heart. On a creative note, the Venus-Saturn square can be beneficial for brainstorming. Pop on Venus’ rose-coloured glasses and borrow Saturn’s project management chapeau. When you run your creative ideas through a quality-control filter, you may come up with a solution that’s not only genius but also completely doable.

This transit will be most challenging for Taurus, Aquarius, Leo, and Scorpio.

b) Venus sextile Neptune:

Was the abovementioned reality check too harsh? Say no more. The Universe always balances things out with some supportive energy. Venus in Taurus will also be sextiling (harmonious aspect) its higher octave: Neptune in Pisces. This will help soften the edges, open us up to others, fill us with compassion, and inspire us to enjoy some music or any other artistic activities.

This transit will be most beneficial for Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio, Capricorn, and Taurus.
