Feb. 1st 2021: Venus enters Aquarius joining the Aquarian energy stellium. General weekly horoscope.

Week of February 1st-7th, 2021:

We’re starting out February with quite a lot! Mercury has been stationary retrograde since January 30th, meaning that the planet has been set on the same degree in its retrograde motion (26° of Aquarius in this case). When a planet is stationary retrograde or stationary direct, its energy is more potent, and thus the Mercury-related issues such as communication, electronics and high-tech objects, the internet, trade and negotiation might be under more pressure than usual. Mercury starts moving again on February 2nd. Again, until it turns direct on February 21st, it is advised not to start any new projects or buy new electronics. We can review old projects or even finish them up, repair high tech equipment, reconcile with old friends or even put an end to a friendship that has been having problems for a while. Issues will be resolved in a more rational and detached manner (Aquarius).

Right away, on Feb. 1st, we’ll be having the Sun in Aquarius squaring Mars in Taurus exactly! This is a tense aspect and a call to action in our lives. There’s a conflict between the detached individualistic and rebellious ego and will (the Sun), and the more practical drive and action of Mars (the planet of aggression, action and war). Since both are in weak positions (Mars is in detriment in Taurus and Uranus is in fall in this sign), the conflicts that may arise in our personal lives and on the international scene will be milder. That’s not to say that they won’t be there. It will be interesting to watch how the GameStop affair will turn out, as it was done within the higher manifestation of the Aquarian energy: smart rebellion. With 5 planets in Aquarius, 2 of them benefics, the little people who used their internet wits might have the chance to win, but only temporarily.

Which brings us to Venus entering Aquarius today, Feb. 1st at 3:05 PM (CET) joining the stellium of 4 other planets in the same sign: the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn. A stellium is formed when we have 3 or more planets in the same sign. Aquarius is air energy, so expect things to move lighter and faster, there will be a big information exchange. Venus is a benefic planet; it rules love, relationships, our values, our self-worth, money, beauty. In Aquarius, it’s more free and willing to express its individuality. It’s more focused on mental stimulation and connection, on friendships, on social progress, on higher causes, on networking, on innovation and high-tech. So don’t hesitate to connect more online with people, despite lockdowns and curfews. The 2 benefics, Venus and Jupiter, are supporting us. Venus will stay in Aquarius until February 25th, so make the best of this 3-week period to uplift these areas.

That’s not to say that there won’t be tensions this week and month in general. During the entire month, we will have a build-up of events leading to the year-long tense-aspect: the Saturn in Aquarius/Uranus in Taurus square. So, speaking of the Gamestop stock, and smart rebellion, both Saturn and Uranus are the dispositors of the whole stellium in Aquarius, and they’re in conflict. Uranus is the modern ruler of Aquarius, and it’s in Taurus, its fall position. So, again, it’s Saturn (governments, rules, regulations, the status quo, limitations and restrictions) that’s stronger. I will go back to this very important aspect that will become exact on February 17th, in another post.

Venus will conjoin Saturn (exact on Feb. 5th). This will bring up restrictions and limitations when it comes to relationships, values, and money. It could also manifest as restructuring and reevaluation of these areas, in a more practical sense. Coming back to the GameStop issue, the bottom line is that there’s a chance to win, but it won’t go without a fight, and there will be many fluctuations. With Uranus staying in Taurus until 2026, our values and money will be going through an upheaval. Expect the unexpected.

The planet of love and beauty will bring some healing to our identity this week as well when it will sextile Chiron in Aries, on Saturday, Feb. 6th. We will have to seize the opportunity though, sextiles bring opportunities, and it’s up to us whether we will be taking them or not.

Emotionally speaking, Venus will be making harmonious aspects (trines and sextiles) to the Moon, most of the week, so, it will be a good time to make the best out of it and reconnect with our loved ones by any means possible (phone, internet when in-person contact isn’t available). Be mindful of the tense period throughout Feb. 4th-5th (particularly the 4th) as there will be a T-square to the Aquarius stellium coming from the Moon in Scorpio and Mars + Uranus in Taurus.

Clarity of mind and will comes with the Sun trining the North Node in Gemini on Sunday, Feb. 7th. It will illuminate for us the direction that our lives and the world will be taking for the rest of the year.

Finally, as I’ve already mentioned above, the week won’t go without a fight. Venus in Aquarius will be squaring Uranus in Taurus, bringing up rebellion and unexpected events in the fields of money, values, the internet, groups and associations. In our own lives, we should use this energy to act in alignment with our true self-worth. Tense aspects always bring the opportunity to stir up some positive change in our lives, if we decide to act upon it.
