Dear NightFall Astrology readers,

Are you ready to open your hearts up to higher values; to receive deep wisdom regarding what you really deem worthy in your life? Well, this is the week to do it! Don’t get afraid of the disruptive energy that the planet of love’s meeting with revolutionary Uranus will stir! The cosmic nudge is coming at all of us to shake us out of old behavioural patterns in our relationships and finances. It is all for our highest good.

All of us are still feeling the lingering effects of the last Mercury retrograde, as Mercury is still travelling through the shadow zone (27° of Taurus to 5° of Gemini); we’ll be officially done with this “retroshade” energy on June 19th. Until then, we should be grateful for Mercury’s direct motion (it’s been stationary since June 3rd) starting this Wednesday and the interesting shakeup that the Venus/Uranus conjunction will bring!

Here’s your weekly horoscope.

1. The lovely kite configuration made by the waxing quarter moon:

On Wednesday, June 8th, there will be a stunning astrological masterpiece in the sky! The waxing quarter moon in 25° of Virgo will be making a magically auspicious configuration called “a kite” with Mercury (already moving direct) and the North Node in Taurus, Pluto retrograde in Capricorn, and Neptune in Pisces. For the astro nerds out there, a kite is formed by a Grand Trine, two sextiles, and an opposition (this latter challenging aspect gives us the needed push to seize the opportunities offered to us by the Universe).

So how does this energy translate into our daily lives? Well, we have a moon in Virgo at the apex of the kite configuration, meaning that all the energy is flowing through our emotions that will focus on our health, routine, coworkers, pets, and… perfectionism! Be careful with this last keyword, “better done than perfect” is the order of the day here! Now that the excessive self-criticism (or towards others) is out of the way, let’s mention all the great opportunities this energy can bring!

This is a perfect day for: negotiations, truthful conversations, travel, learning, sudden inspiration and out-of-the-box ideas! It all has a fated/magical quality to it since the North Node is involved in this configuration! A word of caution, though: since Virgo rules health and the digestive system, and the Moon the way we literally nurture ourselves, the Moon/Neptune opposition could prompt us to excessive or miscalculated food/substance/alcohol/medicine consumption. Also, with Neptune being in its home sign of Pisces, we should be cautious with seafood and hanging out around water (it’s the summer holidays season, after all). Better be safe than sorry!

On the plus side, our attention to detail could win us the proverbial merit badge, not to mention people’s undying loyalty.

This kite configuration will be most beneficial for Virgo, Taurus, Capricorn, Cancer, and Scorpio.

2. Mercury trine Pluto:

From June 7th until June 14th (exact on June 10th) could be the best period to approach awkward subjects as penetrating Pluto retrograde in Capricorn and quick-thinking Mercury in Taurus will meet in a trine (harmonious aspect) and give us the wisdom to deal with any tricky situation!

This energy enhances deeper communications, mental insights into secrets, hidden, forbidden or psychological matters, research and investigation. It’s also favourable for all business, commercial and financial activities or negotiations, especially regarding mutual/shared resources, and travel arrangements.

This transit will be most supportive of Capricorn, Taurus, Virgo, Scorpio, and Pisces.

3. Venus conjunct Uranus:

From June 10th until June 13th (exact on June 11th), change may be the only constant as seductive Venus shares a flight path with disruptor Uranus. The fact that both planets are conjunct in steady, sensual Taurus is a silver lining. All the same, it’s hard to ground yourself in the face of any unexpected romantic developments. Your love life may take a sudden detour, or an unanticipated expression of desire (on your part or someone else’s) could catch you way off guard. This may feel heaven-sent. But if you’re in a relationship that’s been on shaky ground, these seismic shifts might topple it. Single? With love planet Venus logged in to techie Uranus’ network, dating apps will be lit. Couples may feel boldly experimental, which could direct everything from bedroom play to adventure planning. Just talking about a two-week road trip or taking a class on tantra could refresh your zest.

On the non-romantic relationships and financial side, this transit could bring interesting new contacts and social experiences, original ideas for earning money, and unexpected financial incomes. It could also prompt us to change our appearance (makeover time!). New ideas about fashion, design, beauty or art will be on the table too!

However, the negative side of this conjunction could translate into: unstable emotions and reactions, unexpected events with a significant other, feeling nervous and/or anxious, an impulsive desire to make a change in your persona/physical appearance, stressful communication with women, and unplanned expenses.

Just remember: the key is to stay open-minded and focus on levelling up when it comes to your values!

This conjunction will be felt most potently by Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. Its positive influence will be most beneficial for Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Pisces, and Cancer.
